An Unforgotable Incident In My life.

It is a rainy day. My mother and father went to my grandfathers house. I am alone in our house. The time was 7.00 p.m. The light went out. The house was full of dark. I went to kitchen and found a box of matches. Then I lightend a lamp. The wind was blowing and the windows were open. I was afraid.

                                                                                                       The time was 8.30 p.m and some one knoked at the door. Then I went to near the door and I saw the out side from the hole of the door. No one is there in the out side. My eyes were closed and I wanted to scream. then I cried very loudly. “Nelu Nelu why are you crying” some one talk to me behind from me. My ears, my eyes and my mouth also opend and I thought she is a monster. My legs and hands were locked and I sat on the floor. After I looked behind. Oh! she was not a monster she was my best friend Ureka. I asked “how are you enter the house”. “Oh! look at there the windows are opend” she said. Then I laugh at her and wait till my parent come. That is the unforgotable  incidrnt in my life.

Importance of learning English.

                         “English is a language not to learn but to catch“. The man comes to the modern world day by day. In this modern world we have to learn English. Most offices, companies, countries use English as their language.                                       

               Learning English is very important to our life. Because when we learn English well we can connect with world easily. There are many books written in English but when we cant read English we can’t read that books. The easy way of connecting with world is learning English.

                                                                            English language is our international language. That is the main reason we have to learn English.Because of that we have to learn English for our future.

Our Team

 

Now I am in grade eleven. In our class room we divided in to four teams this year. Silver memory, Silver sun, Silver shadow and Silver line are the four teams. Our team is Silver sun. There are five girls and five boys in our team. Some time we organize: debates with other teams. Always our team tries to get the first place in whatever we do. When a teacher is not present in our class room we discuss some science, mathematics or other difficult lessons with our team members. Some time we sing songs and discus stories among our team members. All team members are my best friends also they are very knowledgeable and very kind members. After 1.30 p.m when the school we stay a one hour in school and we paint systems of the body in our class room. Our team always tries to help other teams and spend happy with them. I think when we spend our time with a good team we can get our lives to a good path. I love my team and team members very much.    

Village By The Sea….

I have read many books in my leasure time. Some time I read Sinhala, Tamil or English books. Village by the sea is the book most favorite foreign novel I have read in my life.
In my fourteen’th birth day my father gave this book for me as a present. Village by the sea is Anita Desails first novel for children. This novel is Indian novel and it is very close to children. Because it doesn’t have valions and some time it was very humer. This novel was roled around poor indian family. Here are many children charactors tn this novel.
Hari, Lila, Bela, Kamal, Ramu, Mahesh and Bhola are some of them.
Lila is thirteen years and her brother Hari is twelve years. They have to do many works to earn money for living their litle sisters Bela and Kamal and their mother. Their mother was fallen ill from Mal Nutretion and there father is a drunkerd person. Because of that they fallen in to many disterss. This novel is narrates insident to another insident. In many years ago they had a fishing boat and two buffolows but when their father was a drunkerd person they had to sell this things to pay debts.
Hari’s main disere is to  to help their family. Lila did all house hold works for them.hari thought to go to Bombay to find a job to earn money for living. He stayed Mr Jagu’s Sri Krishna eating house . During this period Mr Panwalla help him to study about watch repairing. After he was came home from Mr Panwalla and Mr Jagu’s help. When he was comong to Thul their mother admiterd to hospitel and their father stoped drinking. Hari’s pet Pinto was die.
After six months their mother came home.this time the factory was build up and Hari got chance for job from for watch reparing and now he has a watch reparing shop and paultry farm.Hari is very clever boy.
In a way there the I like to read this novel. Because it’s an interstind story.

Nuwara Eliya

Nuwra Eliya is a very attractive place in our country. It is very beautiful city situated in Central Province of Sri Lanka. Nuwara Eliya called the Little England because of it’s beauty and climate. There are many waterfalls, flower gardens, lakes, parks, little rain forests and tea estates can be seen there. The highest mountain in Sri Lanka, Piduruthalagala is situated in Nuwara Eliya. There are many popular tea estates is in Nuwara Eliya. World famous Haggala botanical garden is also situated in Nuwara Eliya. We can see many types of flowers in there.

My village.

My village is called Pitakumbura. It’s very small rural village situated in Uva province, Monaragala district. There are many paddy fields around my village. In my village we can see many kinds of birds, little jungles, cows and mountains. . There is also a little school, post office, Ayurvedic hospital and a fair in our village. Every Tues day people go to fair and sell their vegetables, fruits or other things and they will get some ornaments for their houses ornerments. An ancient temple built by King Kawan Thissa can be seen in our village. I am very glad to live in our village because of it’s beauty and peaceful and quiet villagers.

Child Abuse

Children are our future generation. They are important to develop our country in future. But today children are faced with many dificulties. Some parents gave sivier punishments to children, they do not give enough food for their children. Some children work in the shops and they carry heavy items. Some children work in the home as a domastic servents. Some parents niglected their children, get them looked after the younger sisters and brothers with out sending them to them to school and burning with fire or iron rods. Today in our country government orgernizations are protecting children.Docters give free medicins for them and orgenized awareness programes.some orgernizations like unicef were help to protect poor children. Lawyers give legel advices and appearin couts for children abuse and child labour etc. Polic are taking people in to custudy for child abuse and labour. Please protect children as your eyes.

Waterfalls In Sri Lanka

 

There are many water falls in Sri Lanka. Water falls give beauty and income for our country. Dunhida fall, Bamarakanda fall, Lakshapana water fall, Diyaluma waterfall, Gerandi ella, Rawana ella. Bopath ella and Aberdeen water fall are some of these waterfalls. There are many waterfalls situated in Badulla and Nuwara Eliya district. Bamara Kanda water fall is the highest waterfall in Sri Lanka. There are many rare flowers, hurble plants can seen near the waterfalls. Most people get salery from this water falls. They grow some flower plants, vegitables for sell. Some time people make fresh water bottle . Some companies built hotels near the water falls. Because most forgines would like to spend their vacations near the water falls. Water falls are very beautyful. We can generate power from waterfalls. During certain season visitors can see lots of small butterflies hovering round the Dunhina waterfall. 

The Drought Has come

The trees, bushers and all plants have wthered. Trees have lost their green colour. Animals are roaming about looking for some thing to eat and drink. Their bodies have sunk in to their bones. When drought will come there will be no water to farming, cultivting, generation power, inland fishing and other domastic works. When there is a drought the rivers, lakes, ponds and other forms of water  lives cannot exciste and there are no water and food for human beangs.

                                                                                                                            Some areas and countries in our world people does not have water for their requestment. Because of that they had got many miles to find water. There for we must conserve water for future consumtion.

Gift of the nature

.

Trees are gift of the nature to man., Because trees help us on birth to death in our life. We can get many valuable things from trees. Special one is food. People can get water, fuelle, fresh air, timber, cloths and fruit from trees. When we grow more trees we can get rain and water we need. Trees help to block soil erostion and trees give cool environment and shade for us. We can make houses furniture and fittings from timber. Trees are preceious to get medicine. Trees help to clean our air . They take in carbon dioxide from the air and release oxygen. This is very precious for us. Because living things breathe in oxygen.

But today people  destroy for trees. But we can protect trees., Because we can’t  live with out trees. Because of that please protect trees as your eyes.
